Table Top Chairman Unit enabling the participants to actively take part in the meeting proceedings.
In addition to the ‘microphone on’ button the chairman unit should have a ‘chairman priority’ button. When pressed the priority button causes all currently active delegate microphones to be permanently muted or should have option to  activate the chime tone toprecede chairman priority calls.  A builtin microphone with flexible stem and light ring should allow them to speak to the other delegates, and they can listen to the discussion using the built-in loudspeaker or (optional) personal headphones.
A light ring should illuminates red when the microphone is on.Two 3.5 mm (0.14 in) stereo headphone sockets (wired for mono)  should allow two pairs of headphones to be connected so two delegates can simultaneously use the unit.Built in volume control for headphones should be avaialble in unit .
Length of the microphone from the base of the stem should be min 480mm.Nominal Acoustic Input at the microphone should be  85dB SPL and  Frequency Response 400Hz to 10Khz.
